About Us
Originally built as a college for religious studies, the complex has been used for different purposes throughout its history. Today, it serves the local and international community likewise. Unfortunately, the media and politics produce negative stereotypes about Islam and Muslims. The aim of the several organisations working under the roof of the complex is common. It is to help visitors empathise with a Muslim intellectual perspective on life and to demonstrate how it is practised. To serve this purpose, there are many lectures, gatherings and intercultural activities for Turkish and international visitors which are completely free of charge. Our book stall and bookshop also provide materials in different languages.
If you are interested to take part, please check our activities for past events and announcements for future ones.
